Mike leads GMP’s field operations to keep the lights on, and to get them back on quickly when they go out. His teams of Supervisors, line workers, substation technicians and distribution designers are making the grid more resilient as they confront more severe storms due to climate change. Mike isn’t a meteorologist, but he works closely with them, and he’s an expert on what different weather conditions can do to powerlines! Mike also thinks he’s still awesome at basketball, though many here feel what skill he may have had has greatly diminished in recent years.
